The 3rd Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu International Camp was held in the beautiful Virginia Beach, VA location on May 15-16, 2010. Instructors were Shihan Timo Hirvonen, 7th dan, and Sensei Pertti Kangas, 3rd dan.

 

The below sequence demonstrates well that Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu is the complete martial art, including - among other techniques - chokes, throws and ground fighting.

Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu was very active in JapanFest 2009 in September in Atlanta, GA:
 
Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu booth had hundreds of visitors during the 2-day festival. Hokutoryu Ju-Jutsu members shared information with the visitors at the booth, including two video shows that were running on a large screen.
